How a request works

A quiet, member-only path to coverage.

Tell us when and where; Maywood checks availability and facilitates a warm introduction. You choose who you connect with, and coordinate the details directly.

1
Submit a request
Tell us when, who, and where. Two minutes, no public posting.
2
We surface availability
Maywood notifies network sitters in your area who may fit.
3
A warm introduction
Choose who you’d like to connect with. Maywood makes the introduction, and you coordinate directly from there.

Availability reflects sitters' own responses and may change. Maywood does not guarantee availability or performance.

How introductions happen
Contact stays private

Candidate options carry no contact information. Contact is released only after you and the sitter both agree.

Only essential details are shared

Until both sides agree to an introduction, requests include only what a sitter needs to evaluate the opportunity — such as a general age range — not children's names or other identifying details.

You choose to move forward

When a sitter expresses interest and you both choose to move forward, Maywood facilitates the introduction. From there, you coordinate directly.

You coordinate directly

You choose who you connect with, and coordinate the details directly. Families and sitters arrange scheduling, rates, and terms directly. Maywood does not employ, supervise, or guarantee sitters.

Maywood is not an employer, staffing agency, or childcare company. Maywood does not supervise, set rates, or process payments, and is not a party to agreements between families and sitters.

After every sit
A quiet word, kept private

Families and sitters can privately rate each experience from one to five and leave a note for Maywood. It's a confidential signal that helps us make better introductions — never a public review, score, or ranking.

Raise a concern, discreetly

Either side can report a concern directly to Maywood. We review it confidentially and follow up as needed. Maywood coordinates introductions — it does not supervise or control the relationship between a family and a sitter.

If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Maywood Concierge members receive additional Sitters Network benefits.
